The best way to learn about LVN is to attend an event and experience what a LVN conversation feels and looks like. Here are some upcoming conversations:
Join us for a community conversation about topics such as climate change, gentrification, housing, or just hopes and concerns for the local community in BPL branches across the city. Residents, students, interested facilitators and partners are encouraged to join!
Reach out to us if you are interested in leading a LVN conversation in your home, organization or community! You don’t have to have facilitation experience to participate, and if you do, we are excited to learn from your practices. We will go over all the technology that makes LVN tick, and offer core facilitation skills that you can use beyond this work.
Once you express interest in being trained as a facilitator, we will be in touch to let you know about future dates for facilitation training.
LVN is a powerful, inclusive and transparent tool for engaging and connecting communities. We are partnering with organizations such as community centers, tenants organizations, youth development organizations, and social justice causes to host conversations about critical topics across stakeholder groups. In 2020, LVN is focusing on civic conversations and amplifying youth voice (both high school and college students) to surface under-heard voices. Reach out to us if you want to explore bringing LVN to your organization, coalition or campus.
